Founded by John Miller, Joel Cutler, Jerome Bailey, and Joshua Zitting, Daddies Donuts was born out of a night of reminiscing childhood dreams at a stand-in dinner during the 2020 lockdown. John Miller, one of the founders, is a baker who has been baking these tasty goodies for years now. So, the dream soon became a reality. However, this is not just a regular dessert St Petersburg FL shop – it is a shop bubbling with laughter, love, and sweetness. Decked in bright colors like pink and turquoise and a pink fridge to match, Daddies Donuts has an old-school charm. The customers even get to take selfies for Instagram with a big Pink Neon Sign. 

In an interview, John Miller, one of the founding partners of Daddies Donuts, said, “We were having dinner, bored during the 2020 lockdown and got to talking about our desire to open a business.  Joel, Jerome, Joshua, and my lifelong dream to open a business in St Pete was driven by our combined desire to be a bigger part of the St. Petersburg community. To top it all, all 4 of us belong from the business world, so you can understand we know how to run a business. So, there was no stopping from then onwards. We got to talking, and the plan started to materialize. We love St. Pete; we love donuts, so we just got on the plan without thinking. Do come to our shop and taste our delights.”
