Mike Dee has captured the hearts of millions worldwide with his awe-inspiring zero-to-hero journey. After being a master procrastinator for most of his life, he finally managed to turn his life around – and now he’s teaching millions worldwide how to do the same.

Mike’s transformational journey started with getting relatively poor grades in high school. He didn’t like studying, so he didn’t study. When it came to performing in exams, his grades reflected his mindset, resulting in poor grades that further fuelled his dislike for studying. He was stuck in a vicious cycle from which he couldn’t escape. 

So what happened that pushed him to finally climb out of the hole he was in?

After leaving high school, he started working at a local supermarket, stacking shelves on the night shift from 9 pm to 4 am. It was a tedious job, but it was easy, and he was comfortable… maybe too comfortable.

After two years of working there, the company started experiencing financial problems. Its stock price collapsed, and management was under a lot of pressure to keep costs down and operate as efficiently as possible. The night team, including Mike, was pulled into the office one by one every night for weeks. The team’s performance was just not good enough, and management wanted them to work faster. 

One night, he was asked to go into the manager’s office. Two managers were already in the office waiting for him. He sat down, and sure enough, they continued to tell him that if he did not work faster, he would be fired. At this point in his life, he had absolutely zero motivation. He was just wandering through life with no real direction. He had no goals, no dreams, no ambitions. But while the two managers were getting increasingly agitated, realizing that he wasn’t taking on board what they were saying, he had an epiphany… 

He thought to himself, “What am I doing here? Why am I sitting in an office at 4 in the morning getting yelled at by two people? I’m young, I’ve saved up some money, I have no mortgage, no pets, no kids, no real responsibilities. What am I doing here?!” He walked out of that office and never went back. Five days later, he was on a flight to Bangkok.

He was fortunate enough to have saved up some money while working at the supermarket, and for six months, he travelled to Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines. He met some incredible people along the way – pilots, scientists, musicians, businesspeople, the incredibly poor, the incredibly wealthy – people who were homeless, carrying all their possessions in a bin bag, and people who were driving around in $300,000 Lamborghinis.

It made him realize that these incredibly successful people are just normal people. There is nothing inherently ‘special’ about them; they just had big goals and big dreams and spent every hour they were awake striving for them. It finally dawned on him. He was living a life restricted by his own beliefs. His whole life he had been limiting himself without even realizing it.

His journey around Asia lit a spark in him that he didn’t know was there. It created so much inspiration and drive within him. He was overflowing with so much motivation, and that’s why he created the Mike Dee YouTube channel. He wanted to share his experiences with other people. He wanted to help pull other people out of the trap they were stuck in, just like he managed to pull himself out of. 

Today, Mike stands at the helm of 7-figure ventures, including a YouTube channel with over 1,000,000 subscribers and heading a personal development coaching business with 30,000 students worldwide. Mike has firmly solidified his position as an influential figure in personal growth.
