Cabana Home, a leading interior design and home furnishings business in Santa Barbara, announced that it will be transitioning to an appointment-only model to provide clients with a more personalized and bespoke experience.
“When we opened 17 years ago as a retail store offering design services, it was the furthest thing from our minds that our business would really evolve to a design studio that offered retail furnishings,” said Caroline Thompson, co-founder and lead designer. “But what a joy this transition has become…the absolute best of our worlds is working directly with our clients and trade professionals reimagining their spaces, sourcing unique materials, or getting on board from day one with project management on building and remodeling projects.”
Cabana Home’s new appointment-only model is a natural evolution of the brand’s focus on providing personalized and bespoke design services.

Cabana Home will now officially be what it has organically become… a Design Studio with our team available at our beloved Funk Zone location by appointment only, allowing us to focus on our design work and provide the most seamless and personal experience possible.”
Under the new model, clients will be able to schedule a one-on-one consultation with one of Cabana Home’s experienced interior designers. During the consultation, clients will have the opportunity to explore the store’s diverse range of high-quality furniture and décor, receive personalized advice tailored to their individual design needs, and be guided through the brand’s renowned design process.
